Cockfighting: Illegal in all 50 US States (Video)
Video by the Humane Society of the United States talks about the cruelties involved with cockfighting and shows how HSUS is putting an end to cockfighting in the United States.
According to HSUS, "...cockfighting is closely connected to other crimes like gambling, drug dealing, and illegal firearms sales." They added the people who host cockfights are considered to be criminals in all 50 US States.
The video further talks about the financial issues involved with cockfighting including its burden on the taxpayers, and also the other crimes commonly associated with cockfighting that helped persuede the American government to pressure states like Louisiana and New Mexico - the last two states to officially ban cockfighting.
